Born on a small island floating in the North Atlantic — more commonly known as Ireland — in the greatest city in the world (Cork, obviously), I’m an award-winning graphic designer with a healthy amount of real-world experience. In-house, freelance, agency — I’ve done the rounds.
I care about good design, but more importantly, design that works. I lean towards data-driven, results-focused thinking — because while “cutting edge” is great, it’s not much use if the end result doesn’t actually do what it was meant to do.
When I’m not working, I spend what little free time remains with my family, cooking (largely because I’m expected to at this point), playing an optimistic amount of football considering the state of my knees, pretending to be a spaceman in Elite Dangerous, and shouting at the TV during Munster and Ireland matches.
After a few years living in the USA, I moved back to Ireland with my wife, daughter, and mildly sociopathic dog. These days, I’m based in Midleton, Cork.

Don’t just take my word for it!
Look, I like to think I’m fairly decent, but here’s what some of the people I’ve worked for and with say about me…

Gary was the keystone of putting together the branding and visual representation of our association, managing a massive design portfolio at our company including promotions, printed materials, presentations, graphics, logos, and much more. I learned so much from Gary and really enjoyed working with him.

Director of Marketing, NASFAA

Whenever I need creative help, Gary is my first and only call. We have worked together on numerous enterprises, and he never fails to deliver work and results that exceed my expectations. Not only is he a talented and experienced designer, but also offers keen insight into marketing opportunities that I didn’t even think about. He’s great!
Richard Villegas
President, ViBo Global

Gary is a pleasure to work with. His sharp wit and listening skills complement his technical expertise and creativity. He not only went to great lengths to understand my needs, but went further to explore the needs of my own clients, and gave me valuable insight into how I should market and position myself going forward.
